We can't tailgate till 1pm?!?!?!?!?!

According to David Hale

Due to the staging of GameDay, the quad will not be available for tailgaters to set up prior to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Approximately half of the quad will be utilized by ESPN throughout Saturday. The remaining 50 percent will return to its traditional usage on game Saturdays beginning at 1 p.m.

I Have a New Prayer

The Rev. Claude McBride of Athens, a Baptist preacher and former football team chaplain, offered words of gratitude and appreciation to the family of Savannah lawyer Frank "Sonny" Seiler, which has provided Georgia's bulldog mascots since 1956. He then offered a prayer, which he ended with, "Sic 'em, Uga. Woof, woof! Amen."

Good Read on Richt getting in to Coaching

Ivan Maisel has been covering the coaches tour of the Mid East here is some interesting stuff on Richt just before he started coaching

Richt
... And then I needed a job. I look in the newspaper and found a job as a bartender. Got fired about the second week of being a bartender. The guy who fired me, he told me to stick around at 2 a.m., he had a job for me. I started cleaning the bar after everybody left., from 2 a.m. to 10 a.m. After I got really desperate doing that, after a week or two, I thought, there's gotta be something I can do with my skill set....

Worst Analysis Ever

Collegefootballnews.com has lost all credibility as a reliable source for information about the game we love. First they say that the Fox BCS broadcasters were actually pretty good (yeah, I really loved the part where the kept telling us that if this was NFL game that play would have been a penalty, not a catch, etc..) and now they announce UGA's biggest loss on offense for next year: Daniel Inman.

Sure, Daniel Inman over Nick Jones on the O-line. Yeah, really good insight there... Not to be putting down a Dawg, but how many times did we hear: False Start Number 72 Offense?

UGA Season as Told by Chris Farley

Sorry, apparently having 2 Gigs and a new baby keep me from posting as much as I have wanted to. Its been a successful football season even if those jobs and said baby have kept me away from as many games as I'd have like to have seen. Anyway for no particular reason here is UGA football

EL Nino
UGA 48 - Western Kentucky 12
UGA 34 - UAB 0
Theses games were relatively short and sweet but we learned very little about our team or what El Nino really translates into.

Schmitts Gay
UGA 18 - South Carolina 0

UGA 37 - Auburn 15
Both UGA and Chris were Quite Nervous going into someone else's house. Both Came out quite happy, though for quite different reasons.

Tommy Boy - Bees
UGA Colorado

Couldn't find the video for this one but this reminded me of the scene in Tommy Boy where The Cops are pulling over Tommy and Richard over right after they spill alcohol on themselves. In UGA's Case Alcohol is Lack of Offense and the cops are Colorado. Luckily Tommy and Richard Pretend Bees are attacking them much like Cox coming off the bench pretending to be the best quarterback ever. Yeah its a bit of stretch.

The Chris Farley show
UGA 14 - Ole Miss 9

Painful to Watch but somehow everything turns out OK

UGA 33 - Tennesee 51
Chris Farley Wigs Out over replacing Coffee.

Both UGA and Chris were enjoying their evenings, enjoying a good smacking of TN/enjoying their coffee when all of a sudden things go very bad.

Matt Foley - Motivational Speaker
The Kentucky and Vandy Games

La Ti Frickin DA,
Our Loserishness Serves as a Painful Lesson to others.

Japanese Gameshow
UGA 14 - UF 21

Having no real confidence considering how we played before hand, somehow we stay in this game till the end, where of course we get electrocuted.

Chris Farley - Japanese Gameshow - video powered by Metacafe

Da Bears
UGA 27 - Mississippi State 24

Chris and UGA both have heart attacks but live.

Chippendale's Tryouts
UGA 15 - GT 12

In this case Georgia Tech is a the guy who thinks he can out dance the Red Dawn Dirty Dancer
This may be little gay to watch but it can be stomached to think of Patrick Swayze as actually Chuck Norris. Even the Pope has Homo-Erotic thoughts about Chuck Norris.

UGA 31 - Virginia Tech 24
Tommy Boy
After a first half where you thought here we go again. We come out and kick some butt.
Tommy boy finally figures out how to say "If you want good T-Bone you can stick your head up a bulls ass, but wouldn't you rather take the butchers word for it?"

If this sucked you can blame my daughter, she doesn't like me to sleep much.
